CobbleStone Fundraises for Lindenwold Animal Adoption Center
CobbleStone Software, as a company, is currently matching one dollar for every dollar its employees contribute to Lindenwold Animal Adoption Center, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Lindenwold Animal Adoption Center's Mission
“Animal Adoption Center will provide temporary shelter and medical care for rescued cats and dogs for the purpose of finding them suitable and permanent new homes. AAC will educate the community regarding the importance of spay/neuter programs, and promote thoughtful and healthy relationships between pet owners and their animals, in part by providing our adopted cats and dogs with lifetime support.”
While this fundraiser remains active, we are confident in reaching a generous goal as a corporate collective. This encourages our employees to engage with our local community as CobbleStone, as a company, likewise engages in charity – one of our core values.
CobbleStone Sponsors EnviroOne for a More Equitable World
CobbleStone contributes steadfastly to EnviroOne, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization - of which Mark Nastasi, CobbleStone’s EVP and founder, remains an active board member - that supports environmental and economic sustainability endeavors in underserved communities in the US and internationally.
EnviroOne’s Mission & Goals:
"EnviroOne is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit company organized in 2007 to promote sustainable environmental and agricultural activities in the US and the world. To achieve our goal of reducing poverty and improving human development in a sustainable manner, we focus on several objectives, including:
- Assisting farmers and empowering women in a changing climate environment.
- Improving the health and environment of citizens in our project areas.
- Implementing micro-finance loan programs to empower farmers, petty traders, and school teachers.”
Through CobbleStone’s corporate social responsibility contributions, including a yearly deep well donation – costing upwards of five thousand dollars – to parched communities and regularly sponsoring an EnviroOne office, EnviroOne can continue changing lives around the world.
CobbleStone Commits to Environmental Sustainability
CobbleStone Software holds itself highly accountable to environmental sustainability. Below is an excerpt from our environmental commitment policy.
“CobbleStone, its leaders, and staff take a pledge to follow EPA Energy Star general guidance. CobbleStone Software’s goal is to reduce paper, waste, fuel, and other natural resources that are typically involved with managing contracts, negotiations, signing, selecting vendors, and other activities that are typically paper-intensive processes. These activities impact forests, land for food, polluting our water sources, reduction of trees, unsustainable lumber, petroleum, and other wastes that harm the environment. Travel, shipping, and transportation of physical paper by mail and travel by air, rail, auto that are typically associated by physical activities of supplier demos and contract management contribute harmful dioxide (CO2) to the environment therefore causes and negative impact on the greenhouse effect and heating the Earth by introduction fossilized fuel the Earth’s atmosphere. To address the environmental impact, CobbleStone offers Contract Insight Software, CobbleStone eProcurement Software, bidding online, IntelliSign® electronic signatures and other cloud-based software to help promote a sustainable supplier management, contract management, and e-signature process for its users. To further commit to our pledge to a cleaner Earth, CobbleStone converted their office lighting to low energy LED lights, upgraded its HVAC systems to high-efficiency units, recommends (and promotes) ride-sharing discounts, offers earned work from home to reduce travel emissions, reduces paper by offering electronic document processing, installed Honeywell HVAC controls, and donates to environmental causes. CobbleStone recommends that all of its staff promote efforts to reduce their impact on the environment by cutting pollution and waste, by using energy efficiency measures, such as smart lights, LED lights, EPA Energy Star appliances, switching off lights, and reducing the use of water.”
While CobbleStone Software as a product in and of itself reduces paper waste and other physical materials that can leave a tremendous carbon footprint, we corporately hold ourselves accountable to actively conserve our environment – furthering our CSR.
